Production speeds up with interchangeable zipper
Feryal aims to impress visitors with interchangeable zippers to be displayed in Interzum Cologne.
We have been informed by Ali Mustafa Tuncel, export specialist of Feryal Export, about a special interchangeable zipper that solves the problem of matching for producers and have made them more productive. Our interview with Tuncel follows:
Entered in zipper business in 1994, Feryal Fermuar is now one of the major companies in its field. Having 15 million meters of annual production capacity in its factory of 3000 thousand sqm covered area and equipped with modern machinery and a labor force of 50 now looks for the future.
Can you detail us your product portfolio? Which sectors have you been operating in?
Our products are mostly used in the production of mattresses, mattress covers, home textiles, furniture and footwear industries.
Can you inform us about your R&D studies? What are your main principles at production process?
Every stage of production is carried out up to the international norms and standards. Paints are made by high-pressure systems. Our products are made of AZO free paints.
Do you have any quality certificates, quality management system applied on your production? What makes you different from your competitors?
The main reasons that our customers prefer our products mainly are that we deliver fast, employ expert personnel and shorter lead times. Besides our company has Oeko-Tex standard 100 and TS EN 16372 (TSE) quality certificates and a member of apparel suppliers association.
Can you talk about your foreign tade? Which countries do you do business with?
We export directly 40 % of our production to fifteen countries. In order to expand our customer bases we participate in several fairs held in abroad.
How many times have you been attending Interzum Koln? Can you talk about the products you will display at the fair?
We will participate for the second time in Interzum this year. We plan to introduce mainly our new interchangeable zippers that address mainly to export markets. As a special product it solves the problems related with matching the sides and thus makes the production process more productive and more qualified. It also may shorten the production cycles. Needs of our customers comes first in our firm.
What do you expect for your sector in 2017?
As the sector, our policy for the year 2017 we want to open up in export markets more and to grow more. Our aim is to serve and to add value to our country and its economy.
